Friday, March 2, 2001

R. Kelly and Jagged Edge swept top honors at the Soul Train Awards.

Kelly won the R&B male soul single award for "I Wish," while his "TP2.com" took the best male album honor. Jagged Edge won best single for group, band or duo for "Let's Get Married" and the same category's best album award for "J.E. Heartbreak."

Rapper Eminem, who won three Grammys last week, including one for best rap album, lost out in the album category to his mentor, Dr. Dre. The video for Eminem's hit single "Stan" was beaten by Mystikal's "Shake Ya A--."
