Things to do while you're here
If you're visiting, check out these spots:
- The University District Farmer's Market is open Saturday morning through Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bustling market offers fresh produce, flowers, bread, honey and other local delectables. At the western edge of the University of Washington campus at 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 41st Street. It's the first game center for the Renton-based company best known for creating the trading card game Magic: The Gathering. The two-story gaming palace includes a BattleTech virtual reality center with 12 interactive simulator pods, a cutting-edge video game and pinball arcade, a "War Room" designed for computer-network games and a huge tournament center.
