A new exhibit is unveiled in Pioneer Park every May. Artwork is visible throughout the town. A walking tour map can be obtained from the Chamber of Commerce or at City Hall.
- WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center -- The center's master gardener demonstration garden, at 7612 Pioneer Way East, on the western edge of town, is open for public view by amateur gardeners who would like to see how gardening ought to be done. Educational programs presented in season on Saturday mornings. The WSU Master Gardeners demonstration area has clinic hours 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday. And they have a plant sale Sept. 27-28 beginning at 10 a.m.
- Puyallup Farmers Market -- Located in and around Pioneer Park, local farmers and crafts people offer a variety of goods from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays from the first of May to the first of September. Too late for this year, but put it on your calendar for '98.
