Footage from a remote-controlled deep-sea camera that scanned the sunken Seattle fishing vessel Arctic Rose in the Bering Sea last week will be released for public viewing tomorrow.

A Coast Guard marine board of inquiry investigating the sinking April 2 of the Seattle-based vessel and the deaths of all 15 aboard first wants to meet with relatives of the lost crew as a courtesy before making the video public.

The board, which met in Seattle and Alaska earlier this summer, reconvened yesterday at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration headquarters in Seattle.

Capt. Ron Morris, chairman of the four-member panel, said the footage addresses some questions about the vessel's watertight integrity. But no conclusive evidence was found.

The footage was taken in 450 feet of water 200 miles northeast of St. Paul Island in the Bering Sea.
